Characters are the life and soul of the Urban World. Your identity and who you become in the game can often determine your direction, your successes and failures. Do you have the right attitude and the right image that you want to put across to those in the underworld of Urban?
Sure you may want to impress the gang culture that as been built over the years however first impressions are important on Urban. Get it right and you go far, get it wrong then you might find a different path awaits you.
Think about your character's name, build something that reflects you but gives nothing away at the same time and people will become more intrigued. Never use your real name or identity. Urban is a world full of people acting out their ideal characters in a seedy underworld created for this basic purpose.
Keep your character simple to begin with, the community involves people of all ages and you want to make that impression on them, there are people out there that will help you but there are others who are too busy with their own agenda's.
Your family on the game are the friends you choose, the people you associate with. Urban is full of characters from all backgrounds and ages, people have different focuses and interests, get involved in the right group and you can end up going far however there are so many different directions you could end up going in.
Welcome to the Gangs side of Urban, take alook around the game and the gangs that are available, see one your interested in then apply to join it, you'll start off in the ranks of a noob however gangs have an affinity for their own. They take new people under their wing and train them up in the game. You'll be well looked after and find more in the game as part of a gang.
There are some who choose to go it alone in the game as well, those who want a challenge which is fair enough, they are out for only one thing and that is themselves. They'll stab anyone in the back just to get ahead often infiltrating the gang worlds and working their way up the ranks within gangs just to tear them down. That said gangs often do that to each other as bitter rivalries form and rage on.

Urban has a wide variety of characters and a huge diverse community with the potential for more people to emerge. Your character is a reflection of you in the game. Everybody is unique, people fall into different roles within the game. Character development forms a large part of the game.
Your character will have options to train at the gym on a daily basis, scavenging and hunting for items including money and other in-game currencies will allow you to progress forward. Focus on where you want to take your character and build around these stats as you can't always train everything at once.
Urban is rife with conflict, gang wars, city wars, territorial battles rage on from day to day. Ultimately you fight for your own back or as part of your gang. Battles are a part of this culture that have shaped and built it's society. Your character will become involved in battles all the time, it's your ability to fight back that will define your status in this society.
Will you stand up and be counted? participating in wars whether as part of a full game war or gang war or even just taking part in individual battles will help boost your experience and build up your characters stats further. The stronger you grow the bigger the challenge you face and take on.

Making your mark can define you as a character in the game, once you've settled in you'll become a bigger part of the community you'll find more influence over the game as you build your character up. You choose your path and define who you are as you grow, moving from gang to gang if you so wish.
Do what you want with the skills and items you acquire however remember that actions often have consequences so form your alliances carefully and watch those you don't trust closely. Ultimately Urban is a game of deception and character development that forces people to work together to achieve common goals however it polarizes and tears them apart in other areas so there are always conflicts brewing between rival gangs and territories.
Urban has a political system in place, a corrupt one at that however it's still something to look into if your the type that think you can make your mark on the game by running for government in your city. Government can afford it's own policies and powers over the people under it's control however they can also cause chaos and end up being overthrown.
